Our History
1995
- Base Specialist Sdn Bhd was established to carry on the business of road building at estates
and rural areas.
1998
- Launch of “Probase Road System”.
1999
- Base Specialist Manufacturing Sdn Bhd was established to carry on the business of manufacturing
soil stabilization and soil sealant products.
2001
- Probase® trademark registered with Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia.
- Base Specialist Manufacturing Sdn Bhd changed its name to Probase Manufacturing Sdn Bhd.
- Commenced production of proprietary TX-55 Soil Stabilizer and T3-55 Soil Sealant.
2003
- New production plant set up at Kulai, Johor.
2008
- Commenced production of proprietary SC-50 Soil Cement.
2009
- Introduction of enhanced version of TX-55 known as TX-85 Soil Stabilizer and Strengthener to the market.
- Introduction of new enhanced soil sealant known as PB-65 Soil Sealant to the market.
- Introduction of enhanced version of SC-50 known as SH-85 Soil Hardener to the market.
2011
- Acquired a piece of 60-years leasehold land measuring 174,240 sq.ft. at Tanjong Langsat Industrial Estate, Pasir Gudang, Johor to construct the Company’s production plant.
- Signed a Collaboration Agreement with Universiti Tun Hussein Onn, Malaysia to establish a Research Laboratory dedicated to road technology and road innovation.
Commenced production of proprietary CM-100 Cold Mix Binder and Promix Cold Mix Asphalt.
2012
- Awarded Best Malaysian Innovative Product by the Malaysian Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation.
- Awarded Star Business Award by The Star newspaper.
- Registered with Malaysian Ministry of Finance as an approved vendor.
- Production plant at Tanjong Langsat Industrial Estate, Pasir Gudang, Johor with total build-up area of 24,113 sq. ft. completed with Certificate of Fitness for Occupancy issued.
2013
- Commenced production of proprietary ADM-99 Soil Sealant.
2014
- Secured from County Government of Meru, Kenya to design and upgrade 10 km of soil road to Probase Road.
- Secured from County Government of Samburu, Kenya to design and upgrade 10 km of soil road to Probase Road.
- Secured from County Government of Meru, Kenya to design and upgrade 3 km of soil road to Probase Road.
- Secured from Kingdom of Swaziland to design and upgrade 6 km of soil road to Probase Road.
2015
- Secured from County Government of Meru, Kenya to design and upgrade 10 km of soil road to Probase Road.
- Secured from County Government of Samburu, Kenya to design and upgrade 10 km of soil road to Probase Road.
- Secured from County Government of Meru, Kenya to design and upgrade 3 km of soil road to Probase Road.
- Secured from Kingdom of Swaziland to design and upgrade 6 km of soil road to Probase Road.
2016
- Awarded Outstanding Export Achievement Award 2015 by Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation.
- Signed MOU with Kingdom of Swaziland for construction of 160 km of roads under Annuity Program.
- Awarded Letter of Intent from Government of Senegal to conduct feasibility studies for construction of 241 km of roads.
- Signed MOU with Government of Guinea to conduct feasibility studies for construction of 1,500 km of roads.
2017
- Project awarded by Asian Agri’ group in Indonesia.
2018
- Awarded Letter Of Acceptance for Farmland at Karak, Pahang.
2019
- Probase awarded Malaysian Construction Industry Excellence Awards 2019 organized by Construction Industry Development Board.
- Awarded 200km project in Eswatini, Africa.
